2 weeks post rally update....the happy ending continues

Hey all!

Well it's been 2 weeks since the rally and I wanted to give everyone an update on my journey. Joined TAXI almost 11 months ago. Although I have worked in the music business as an artist, producer, and engineer for 15 years, I was a baby in the licensing world. Joining taxi and learning the listings, as well as getting to meet/speak/chat/collab with so many of you, has re-awakened the wonder and joy in me for creating music again.

And then the rally happened... I already made a post spilling my gratitude for everyone and everything that went on there, so won't be redundant....but really....THE RALLY!! WOW!! Not only did I make some friends that will surely be lifelong...but also took care of business. I went there hoping to sign some of the new music we have been working on. But what happened was surely a huge blessing and surprise. Not only myself, but my mother as well, are now in the process of signing our entire back catalog of music. Mine being around 14 years old, and my mother's catalog going back to the 70s. Together spanning close to 100 pieces. That part was so unexpected, and such a blessing. Luckily I had some of my old songs on my phone or none of that would've even happened. I am so thankful for everyone I met, and everything that went down....it just felt so right...so on purpose..

And as if that wasn't enough for me to proudly stand behind TAXI, Michael, and this amazing community... since getting back 15 songs have been signed..and now i have real relationships with these libraries....so i am/will be creating new pieces daily for them. I am so excited for the future...and feel so lucky to be apart of this wonderful community.

Thank you all for welcoming me (us) with open arms..it really feels like being part of an amazing family.. And to the new members...follow the plan..don't get down.. keep creating..and trust your path and the process. Go "all-in" with TAXI. Try the listings, get on taxiTV, GET ON/STAY ON these forums...they are priceless. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GET TO NEXT YEAR'S RALLY. It is an impossible event to describe..and trust me...despite what any of us say...it will far surpass your expectations.
