Note: The show’s production company is asking for 100% of the Publisher’s share on this (and other placements). You’ll keep 100% of the Writer’s share and get the full sync fee. Your vocal performance should be very clean, with all the appeal of mainstream acts in the R&B/Pop genre. Lyric themes should be consistent with what you’d typically hear in current R&B music. Universal lyrics will work best, so please avoid references to specific names, places, times, dates, brands, and profanity. Please do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, and vibe. Broadcast quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). The estimated license fee for this use is $2,500, depending on the ultimate placement. We’ve been told it could go somewhat higher. This Production Company offers an EXCLUSIVE agreement with a 50/50 split. The specific terms of this agreement will be determined directly between you and the Publisher. Because this is an Exclusive deal, please do NOT submit music for this pitch that is already signed to any other Libraries or Publishers. You must own or control your Copyright and Master recording. I’m particularly proud of the collaborative effort on this song! Great production and vocals from Jan & Terrell! On a more personal note, I spent an inordinate amount of time on this song - in particular, the chorus - so it is especially satisfying and reinforcing to me to receive ID #315’s positive feedback with regard to the chorus. It DOES make a difference!
