First Placement on TV and ASCAP check

Post by steveprobst » Tue Apr 19, 2016 11:29 pm

This is directly related to a Taxi pitch and then forward. :)
Noticed the ASCAP cue sheet in January for 30 seconds of airplay on Access Hollywood in July 2015. Got a check this a April.
Thanks Taxi!

Congrats!

Whenever I receive my first check I probably will frame it instead of cash it. :)

Haha yeah Paulie me too, I'd rather keep it for posterity if it was a small amount too although I think nowadays my PRO just transfers it to your bank as I have a couple of friends who get the occasional payment.

Well done Sir..I'm hopeful to be in your shoes later this year or early next !

This may be something you don't want to answer Steve, but sense of achievement aside can you give us and idea on the amount the 30 seconds was worth?

i.e. Beer money, a nice meal or chunk of next years Taxi membership? Did you get anything up front or will everything earned from this be from your PRO?

Mark
