French Cafe Music Forward

Post by crs7string » Mon Feb 06, 2017 10:07 pm

Cafe au Lait was a return for a French jazz listing.

I reworked the cue a bit, and a French cafe listing showed up.

Here's the cue:

Hi Chuck!

I like your piece! Great stuff :) I am also working on that listing and also wanted to submit something in 3/4 but I am not sure whether this is 'in line' with their references... BTW - What is that accordion you are using. It sounds nice and I am still looking for a VI that does the trick :)

Cheers,
Matt

Matt,
Thanks for listening. This forward was for the Dispatch listing that was posted before the recent listing that seems to be exactly the same listing. So Cafe au Lait can give you a feel for what they may be in the hunt for.

The accordion is from East West/Quantum Leap Gypsy. There are several options for accordion in Gypsy.

The violin is Chris Hein Solo Violin. Both instruments are very playable.

The guitar is real. I think the real instrument may "fool the ear" into thinking everything else is real.

Good luck with your submission.

Tres Francais! (I think that's right) Very authentic sounding. Congrats on the forward! :)

Thanks! It does fool the ear :) I have been using Logic's Polka Accordion :) and sampled the noise my midi keyboard makes when hitting a key... it's my cheap man's accordion now :)
Cheers, Matt
