fun little experiment.

I could see parts of this working for a certain "retro" 70's/80's purpose..but it'll be hard to have any modern usage for this type of thing.
The samples are pretty dated, and very obviously synthesized.

I can hear the Beatles influence, but that could be because of the title?

Some interesting little melodic and harmonic changes to be sure.

Good luck developing it further!

Hey Steve, one thing you'll want to ask yourself with any piece of music you write for TV is, "what is my target?" That target will most likely be a specific show. In the case of this particular track, I'm not sure what the target would be... It almost sounds like theme music from 80's movies. In fact, I just watched the old Michael Keaton movie "Mr. Mom" recently, and your track kinda reminded me of the opening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sgu5CDk3eao

All of which is to say that your piece of music felt pretty dated to me. If that's your target, then that's fine, but you'll be hard-pressed to find many uses for it. I'd suggest studying cues that are on contemporary shows, and even do some SoundCloud streaming of many of the forum folks, and you'll find great study material for making modern TV music.

Best of luck to you,

~~Matt
