A stand out chorus needs to be a priority, whether you’re submitting a stripped-down guitar/vocal song or a fuller, ensemble driven piece. Be sure your vocals are unique and confident, with a current sounding delivery. Your production should feel authentic to the genre, with instrumentation that’s mainly acoustic, however, some electronic elements can work as well.
