Lullabies for Listing

Post by burpo » Thu Feb 16, 2017 4:52 pm

Hi there, folks.

I dusted off some lullabies for the listing below. They're on my TAXI page,
entitled, "Holding You Close" and "Right with the World."

I figure, what the heck.

Anyway, any thoughts, comments or reactions are welcomed.

Cheers.

New Listing ORIGINAL LULLABY INSTRUMENTALS are needed by the CEO of a very active and successful Music Library for TV, Film, Commercials, and Toy Licensing. Even Lullabies don’t always age gracefully, so this company needs to freshen up their stash of baby-friendly Instrumentals.

Please send them some Down-to-Mid Tempo Lullaby Instrumentals that would make you yawn like this broad range of examples:

“Go To Sleep Lullaby Instrumental” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETUg_0FbMQg

“Baby Lullabies for Bedtime” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVDgVe1yGOg

“Rock-a-Bye-Baby” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfztbon4KnQ

Give them full-length, original, soothing Lullaby Instrumentals with simple melodies and light, delicate arrangements.

It’s not rocket science, so don’t be afraid to create a simple, yet awesomely catchy melody and do NOT try to win Composer of the Year with this pitch. We know that repetition can be boring, but isn’t that the point?!

Your instrumentation can include (but doesn’t need to be limited to) acoustic piano, electric piano, nylon or steel string acoustic guitars, bells, flutes, violins, vibraphone, cellos, and even a children’s toy piano or xylophone. You can use any instruments that are mellow enough to put even the most restless child to sleep! Avoid any harsh sounds or anything that would startle a baby.

All submissions should be about 3 – 5 minutes long (give or take). Faded or Non-Faded endings are both okay for this pitch. Do NOT copy or rip off the references in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, texture and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine).

TAXI Tip: Dated, old recordings might be the reason this library needs to update its catalog of Lullabies. Good, clean, modern recordings that don’t sound dated should be appreciated.

This company offers an EXCLUSIVE deal. You’ll split all upfront sync fees 50/50. They’ll get 100% of the Publisher’s share, and you’ll get 100% of the Writer’s share. You must own or control 100% of your Master and Copyright. Since this is an EXCLUSIVE deal, please be sure the material you submit for this pitch is NOT already signed with any other Libraries or Catalogs. Please submit one to three Instrumentals online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PST), Friday, February 24th, 2017. TAXI #Y170224LI

Hi Both very nice. Holding you close painted a picture for me of a child that was lost in a dream.

Sincerely

Paul
