Listing NVESTIGATIVE TENSION INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a Non-Exclusive, Boutique Music Library feeding music directly to an award winning show on major cable network. They're searching for Cues in All Tempos that you'd hear on shows like The First 48, CSI: Cyber, CSI, etc., etc., etc. Please listen to the following references to get in the stylistic wheelhouse of what they're looking for: The First 48 (2:00 to 2:16): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NuuCs-V6y0 CSI: Cyber (3:34 to 4:30): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__3cdPebo10 CSI: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9qjdUlRs7Y Please submit well-crafted, current sounding Cues that help support investigative scenes. They're open to both orchestral and electronic elements by themselves, or a hybrid of the two. Build your Cue around a simple, central melodic theme that's engaging and tense, while being able to easily sit behind the dialog or voiceover. Add and subtract layers of instruments as your Cue progresses to keep it Cue from sounding too repetitive. Imagine the type of music you'd hear during a scene where detectives sift through the evidence of a cold case. That's the type of music they need! Submissions should be at least 2 minutes long. Non-faded, buttoned endings with natural decay/ring out are recommended. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). This Library offers a NON-Exclusive 50/50 deal. You'll get 50% of any applicable sync fees and 100% of the Writer's share. The Publisher will get 50% of any sync fees and 100% of the Publisher's share. You must own or control your Master and Composition to submit to this pitch. You'll maintain full ownership of the original Copyright and Master Recording. Please submit one to three Instrumental Cues online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PDT), on Sunday, September 4th, 2016. TAXI #Y160904IT Heres what the screener said Hi Ron, this starts off well and then you introduce lots of different parts that don't all blend together as well as needed sonically or rhythmically. I think I have been playing to many poly rhythms with my jazz and classical studies. simple , simple , simple. Its called The final suspect at http://www.soundcloud.com/777rd I still think it would have easily fit the bill. :? Ron

I liked the sound and feel and movement of the piece. I'll bet if you had just left out the extraneous crashes/klunks/noises and leave those to the music editor to match the video, you would have been golden!

On another note. I am right down the "block" from you in Ft Myers. Are you active as a musician there?
