I never set anything to "downloadable" on soundcloud or my taxi page. Though, occasionally I will temporarily change that when sending something to taxi for taxi tv so they can download it.
As far as the scammers.... meh... no big deal. I only delete the comments they make on my track and just ignore their inquiries. They are benign.
