Hi,
I've got a song I wrote and own everything on that I released on iTunes, CD Baby, etc.
There's a listing on TAXI that would work if I did some editing. Is it okay to submit it as a cue under another title?
Is it okay to submit at all?
For instance, if they want an exclusive, but it's already released (slightly different version) under my own label, would that be a no-no?
Thanks.
Is this legal (and Kosher)?

It always depends on exactly what the contract says, but it typically won't be exclusive if you have published the tune elsewhere (no matter what the title).
If you're free to pull the tune from wherever it is currently published, you could submit the tune and then, if is picked up, pull it from the other outlets. But if you aren't free to pull it you would be best not submitting.
