it's a forward =)

Well - the word just came in - it's a forward for my metal track "Rise of the Samurai".

For this listing.
HARDCORE, HEAVY METAL INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed for multiple $1,500, Direct-to-Music Supervisor, NON-Exclusive placements in a new Science Fiction TV Series done by the same producers as the hit TV show, Mr. Robot. They’re looking for driving, Mid-to-Up-Tempo Cues in the general style of bands like (but not limited to) Metallica, Immortal, Pantera, etc., etc., etc. Please listen to the following references to get an idea of the style and vibe they need:
“Hardwired” by Metallica
“All Shall Fall” by Immortal
“I’m Broken” by Pantera

Although the references have vocals, please submit Instrumentals only for this pitch.
Please submit well-crafted Instrumental Cues with heavy guitar riffs, roaring bass lines, and big, hard-hitting drums. Your music....

I'm glad it was forwarded...I know it's not quite as simple and straight to the point as the referenced tracks, but the production/performance and heart was there. (the music editors can always edit/mashup/chop/cut as they see fit).

So now we go back the drawing board and keep writing/recording/submitting.
But would sure be nice to have this one picked up as I'm quite proud of it.

Congrats on the forward.
Not my genre, but I have to say that the drummer is awesome! :)
Graham (UK). Still composing a little faster than decomposing, and 100% HI.

Go your own way! Out of necessity, drive, gumption, whatever.. don't let anyone tell you you can't!
It's not what goes into your music that's important, it's what comes out the speakers
