HIGH-ENERGY, RHYTHMIC ROCK HYBRID INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a fast-growing, NON-Exclusive Music Library that’s placing music in all types of TV Shows, Films, Commercials, and Trailers. They’re currently looking for Mid-to-Up Tempo Instrumental Cues that are stylistically in the general ballpark of the following references:

Although some of the references have vocals, this request is for Instrumentals only. Please submit well-crafted Instrumental Cues that deliver a powerful and compelling feeling of energy. Gary Glitter’s Rock and Roll Part 2 is the Godfather of this Rock sub-genre, and it’s heard during sporting events all over the world. Thanks to Gary Glitter, every Music Library on the planet wants to have a stash of tracks like his, but they don’t want to rip him off!

So, that’s your mission for this pitch: Submit Instrumental Cues that are very rhythmic, with big, pounding drums, and whatever other percussion you want to add that makes listeners feel the rhythm like they’re being whacked in the chest with a 2 x 4. Don’t forget to add a really simple, but super memorable melody as well!

Edgy synths, chunky, distorted, electric guitars, and thumping bass could all work nicely for this. And if you’re so inclined, you could even add some simple, non-lyrical vocal chants to add some ballsy, in-your-face energy to your track. No lyrics, just stuff like, “Hey” or “Ho.” Our client didn’t ask for that, but we know they’ll like them if done well. Chants are NOT required.

Your submissions should be about 2 minutes long (give or take), with Non-Faded, Buttoned/Stinger endings. Please Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced bands or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine).

This Library offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE, 50/50 Deal. You’ll get 50% of any applicable sync fees and 100% of the Writer’s share. The Publisher will get 50% of applicable sync fees and 100% of the Publisher’s Share on the version they pitch. You’ll keep 100% of the original copyright and master recording. You must own or control the Master and Copyright to submit to this pitch. Please submit one to three Instrumental Cues online or per CD.
