Solo piano piece on The Big Ten Network!

Post by robbiejhancock » Mon Nov 14, 2016 11:50 am

Hey all! I just wanted to share that one of my solo piano pieces was just placed on "The Journey" on the Big Ten Network through one of the publishers I met through another Taxi member. The cue is called "All That Remains" and is a 48 second placement starting at 1:30. This one is special to me because it is my first piano placement and one that I am excited to share with mom and dad for all of those years of organ and piano lessons when I was a wee lad! You can watch and listen to the placement here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQ9-lmQ9tvk

The full instrumental is here https://soundcloud.com/robbiehancockmus ... at-remains

Thanks also to Christoffer Sandberg who gave me the heads up, who also has an instrumental placed in the same episode! It is a beautiful cue starting at 5:04.

I can honestly say that without joining Taxi, watching Taxi TV, spending time on the forum and going to the rally that this would never have happened. I am so very thankful for everything that has happened to me and my collaborators so far. It is a wonderful feeling. Thanks to Michael Laskow and the Taxi team! Taxi works!

Yeah! That was almost a minute long... way to go! It's always good to stretch out, glad to see you giving the piano a shot.

Congrats!

Wow on both counts - piece and placement!
Great job Robbie.

Congrats Robbie! Beautifully done. I can see why it got the placement, very heart felt. Those piano lessons did pay off :)

Cheers

Tom
