Submission Limits?

Post by AlexanderFox » Tue Mar 17, 2015 10:15 am

Here's something I've often wondered but never had reason to address. Most listings say "please submit 1-3 songs/instrumentals." Is that the absolute limit to submissions? Could one submit, say, two batches of 3 tracks each in separate submissions?

My guess is that 3 is the hard limit so as to avoid members submitting an entire CD's worth of tracks but would love to get an informed answer.

Thanks!

You can submit more than 3, you just have to do it in separate passes. Once you submit the first 3, click the listing again and you can submit more. Then you can proceed to the checkout, so you only have to checkout one time.

Also consider submitting just your 3 strongest tracks. Then if they get forwarded, and if the customer (library, etc) contacts you with a deal, they will often let you submit more directly to them.

Hi jd

when you say '' proceeed to the check out '' does that mean there is a submission charge involved when submitting tunes ?

Cheers

Yep. $5US/song. It's a nominal charge (otherwise, we'd be tempted to submit everything), and if you submit to a listing w/critiques, it's well worth the price of admission.
