DRAMATIC, TENSION INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a very experienced Music Licensing Company that has just started running its first batch of Listings with TAXI. They're looking for Down-to-Mid-Tempo Instrumental Cues that you'd hear in tense moments in shows like Scandal, How To Get Away With Murder, Law & Order: SVU, etc., etc., etc. Please listen to the following references to get a general idea of what could work for this pitch: Scandal: (0:00-3:13) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wmV6zKxx-0 How To Get Away With Murder: (0:00-0:55) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZI42B-BtrM Law & Order: SVU: (0:00-2:55) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvcHATh8bpY Please submit Tension-inducing Instrumental Cues that use edgy, current-sounding patches/Virtual Instruments and production techniques to create an unsettling vibe throughout a scene. Stick with one mood from beginning to end, and give your Cues forward movement by layering instrumentation in and out to keep them from sounding too linear or one-dimensional. Please avoid any parts in your arrangement that are overly busy, frenetic, or in the higher registers, as that could distract from dialogue in a scene. Please submit Instrumental Cues that are at least 2 minutes in length. Short intros, or no intro at all, easy edit points and non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings are strongly recommended for this pitch. Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced tracks in any way shape or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). This Music Library offers an EXCLUSIVE deal with a cool twist. You'll keep 25% of all gross income generated by your music, plus you'll get 100% of the Writer's share income generated by your PRO. In other words, if the company licenses your music under a blanket deal, you'll get income. If they license it for a Youtube video, you'll get income. Not all music libraries pay you for things like that! The Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher's share. Because this is an Exclusive deal, the music you submit for this pitch cannot already be signed with any other Libraries or Publishers. You must own or control 100% of your Master and Composition rights. Please submit one to three Instrumentals Cues online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PST), on Saturday, February 25th, 2017. TAXI #Y170225TI

Very dramatic indeed Henry. Nice work!
Graham (UK). Still composing a little faster than decomposing, and 100% HI.

Again - way to go, Henry.
On your new track - Tense Unrest - to these old-guy ears, that's a very interesting use of a ride cymbal throughout the piece -
beginning around the :50 mark; nice tone and unexpected usage. Cool.
Your mileage may vary.
