Rally 2013 was my first attendance.
Being surrounded by like-minded and gifted musicians/writers/producers brought my inspiration to a higher level!
Thank you for all of your hard work.

Sincerely,

as i exclaimed in the rally forum a few days ago, "well, that was a whopper!"

another quote from my post:

"michael, thanks so much for having me on a panel. want you to know how much that meant. by the way, you have created one helluva community! in my book you are in the 'transformational leader' category. not many people in that camp...seriously."

I love being a part of this open-hearted, generous and supportive community of musical cohorts. The rally gets better every year (and that's pretty amazing, given that is started out being extraordinary!). Thank you, Michael, for the vision behind this sweet community of musicians, and kudos to the staff for making it all run so smoothly! (Next year, let's all bring snacks for the staff!)

My second RR, and very busy, with all the great seminars and speakers. I still feel like an outsider with no forwards or deals, but, maybe sometime......

"I visibly aged during that chorus" Ralph Murphy

"What song do you want me to listen to?"
"Is #9 your best song?"
"Why is your best song #4?"
"I am just asking, because people will ask you this."
Michal Loyd

"What is the difference between you and me?" James Kocain
(He asked this while the entire class closed their eyes as he wrote on the white board.. "NOTHING!")

Somebody asked me "You've been coming to these for a long time. What can you learn that you don't know already?". Well, the learning never ends and there's always someone that knows more than I do, presenting an idea that I never thought of. I can't explore that idea if I'm not there to hear it.

Hey Michael!

I wanted to get a chance to THANK YOU for such an awesome event that you put on!!!
This was my first rally and I can see why people keep comin' back!

I had some significant epiphanies this year through my participation in the TAXI Road Rally.
Even though I have never met you in person, I trust that your heart is in the right place and I appreciate having people like you in the world (especially in the music industry!). :)

Michael,
This was my third Road Rally, and I will continue to make it an annual pilgrimage! I think I was most impressed with the involvement of so many industry people that were truly concerned with the success of TAXI and its membership. I had a great mentoring session with Chas and attended his class the next day. It was fun, inspiring, educational and eye-opening.

Also, I've never met so many cool musicians, composers and songwriters in one place in my life, (and I'm an old guy :D )! Thanks, once again, for a fantastic Rally experience!
