Michael Needs Road Rally Quotes...

Post by admin » Thu Nov 14, 2013 4:06 pm

Hi Ladies and Gents,

I hope everybody got home safely from the Road Rally. We're all still pretty exhausted, but smiling none the less. Wowzers, what a Rally? It seemed to fly by this year.

I'm working on my note that goes on top of the 11/15 Industry Listings, and need some Rally quotes I can include in the header I put on top of the listings. If you can muster anything up in the next hour, I'd appreciate it a bunch! I'm up against yet another deadline... the Rally is over (sadly), but there's no shortage of work to be done.

It was great seeing you, and I'm truly sorry that there are so many more of you who I didn't get to meet or visit with. I don't think I spoke to Chuck Schlacter at ALL. That's a first.

Thanks!
Michael

P.S. Short quotes are better! :)

My first rally...it was inspiring.. the "lifechanging" sobriquet is NOT hyperbole...its true. Tim Walter

My first Road Rally was astonishingly good! It brought so many concepts into crystal clear focus. Even my wife loved it!

Thanks, Michael, for all of your efforts and those of your colleagues.

How 'bout- "I got to meet my 2nd family in person"
Or- "Now I feel like I'm part of the music industry!"

Michael, what an amazing organization you have put together here. Thank you for all your hard work and planning to make this happen every year, I will not miss another Road Rally! I wanted to shake your hand, but I was rushing around so much I never saw you without a mob around you. My daughter Lucy and I did talk to Hana a bit though, and she was awesome. So from my family to yours, Thanks! And see you next year!
Happy, inspired member -Rob (and future member Lucy)

Michael... maybe that wasn't a good word to use... feel free to change sobriquet to "term" or "moniker" if you like... having an obscure word in a quote probably might not be a great thing.... And thank you for creating Taxi... it means a lot. Tim.

2013 was my first Taxi Road Rally. I was struck by how incredible it was in so many ways. The accessibility of the mentors and instructors was one thing that stands out. Another thing as I think about the class offerings, is the fact that you can truly only scratch the surface of what is available to you. I could probably attend this same exact Rally 10 times and still have new classes to take and things to do. I had an awesome time and learning experience.

Thanks Michael, Taxi and staff,

Bob Porri

Singer-songwriters, mentors, composers,
Beatles, beat boys, east and west coasters,
Indians, Chinese, Latino, Caucasian,
African, European, United Nations

Classes, panels, awards, high hopes,
Promises, deals, the straight dope ...
Advice, advances, love, romances,
Open mikes, first-time chances

Every music, no bad songs,
Bunch of desperadoes hanging out and hanging on
Showin' the love, shining the light
Michael and the team doin' it right

First-timers, old geezers, music supervisors,
Books and CDs to make you wiser
2000 cool people, a million laughs
Can't wait 'til next year ...
You know I'll be back ...

Haha!!!

Perfect blend of information, education, relationships (new and old), and hope!

Thanks, Michael
