hey I don't want to forget Matt either thanks man for helping out on this and I'll keep going forward I was already thinking of wearing a bass track down and some percussion maybe kick the organ in a little more and just nix the track master it then go with it I think this is definitely a natural soundtrack wish me luck

Peace,

Now THAT'S the stuff, Bob!! Sounds like an instant forward to me. Whatever you did to record this sounds killer, almost like you recorded a live performance in some outdoor bar on the streets. The ambiance is incredible.

Anyway, it's my pleasure to have listened to your stuff. Glad you posted the first option to get you a little more on-target, and definitely for posting this amazing second option.

That's awesome Bob. I guess you just needed to throw a little pity party "Maybe this is not in my wheelhouse," to motivate you to come up with a cool track like this.

Hi Bob,
Great track! I'd say adding a bit more percussion would really make this great and suitable for the listing. Not quite sure what a "latino organ" is but I would say that was the only thing that bothered me about the track. The listing specifically says to use authentic instrumentation and I don't think the organ is taking the piece in that direction. I would just get rid of it, the track feels full enough with the great guitar parts, I don't think the organ is really adding anything essential to it.
Add some bongos and/or congas, maybe a shaker and you'll be good to go.
HTH

So here is a first mix with all of the percussion and bass in there plus my Maracas performance. (Learned on Youtube this morning). Hope this fits the bill so I can go Master it and submit. Let me know what you think and thanks for the help.

I really like this, Bob. One thing I did find distracting, however, was one of your percussion instruments that comes in at the 53 second mark and stays until the end of the song. I'm not sure what it is, exactly, but it just sounds like extra white noise that doesn't help the tune and actually hinders it. If you could take that out - or at least tame it down! - you'd have a killer track from top to bottom.

Here is the final cut after taking the pang cymbal way down. Thanks Matt it does make a difference.
Wish me luck with this listing and submission.
