Well, our weekly paper did a story
On my Uncle Stan
How he owns a rifle shop and he’s a
Self-made southern man

Then some guy from Hollywood comes down
Offers him a hefty fee
If a cam’ra crew can film his life
For a show on A & E

So my uncle asked him, “if the show is fam’ly friendly
Then I get a butler mansion and a brand new Bentley
Lemme tell ya straight…I sure as hell ain’t no Honey Boo Boo
Cos I got some Cajun relatives who practice voodoo
And I once caught a giant python in Miami’s sewers
So some scenes may be too intense for younger viewers”

Then he ate some armadillo jerky
Off his Bowie knife
And he growled and said the deal was off if
They whitewashed his life

Now that Hollywood executive
Had big dreams of ratings gold
But the tales he heard my uncle tell
Made him put those dreams on hold

Uncle Stan once rode some rapids in a deer-hide kayak
Lost a drinking match in Mexico to Salma Hayek
Thirty years ago he taught Shania Twain to tango
After midnight in a roadhouse tavern near Durango
But on cam’ra he’d be forced to say he never knew her
Cos some scenes may be too intense for younger viewers

Well, that Hollywood guy
Left with fear in his eye
Two weeks later Quentin Tarantino came by
And he pulled his checkbook from his pocket
He was gonna do a cool remake of “Backdraft”
Starring Jaden Smith and Zach Braff
But now he wants to do a modern Davy Crocket

Cos my Uncle Stan’s got contraband in hidden bunkers
And he’s done more badass stuff than Dog the Bounty Hunter
All his kin in Loo-Zee-Ana are just crazy rednecks
Even they were shocked he mailed that big old crate by Fed Ex
Cos he caught that giant python in a Miami’s sewer
And some scenes may be too intense for younger viewers
