First time "howdy".
Both "Mom's Basement" title, and your story line of connecting here piqued my curiosity.
Went to the SC page for initial listening to tracks. While the vocals are clear and there's no mistaking the lyrics; wished they were written out on the individual page(s) there to follow along in the storytelling; as just a personal preference.
Some good urban-vibe there; I could see you landing some TV/film spots where they'd be appropriate.
Good story; good tunes; here's to yours and their success.
Cheers.
Peter

Howdy... again.
If you have not done so, nor considered it yet: the parts and the stops and starts on
"Having A Bad Day" could be separated out (with vocals removed)... and possibly used as commercial instrumental backing pieces where appropriate to a listing
that's asking for something "urban" and/or "edgy"...
the track, in places, would give you that option... I think.
Cheers,
Peter

Re: Mom's Basement - A group formed here on the TAXI forums
Thanks so much Peter!! Really appreciate it. And, both good suggestions.
We started putting lyrics on soundcloud on our recent songs. Not a bad idea to go back and do that for all of them.
This song as well as the instrumental is in a library so hopefully that doubles the licensing opportunites.
