Favourite strings for a Strat?

I used to used GHS Boomers on my guitars, recently switched to Ernie Ball Cobalt, love the sound, but they are PRICY. When I first put them on, I remember being surprised at how much of an improvement it made on my guitar tone (maybe I had waited a bit too long before changing and had somewhat dead strings.)
I will definitely check out the DaddarioBlues Rock mentioned by Andy. I also use 11's, have tried 10's and just didnt get the tone I wanted and so went back to 11.s
