My Song at Wrestlemania!

Post by Mark Crozer » Tue Apr 08, 2014 10:09 am

Hey guys

Haven't been here for a while but just wanted to share my latest success story.

Thanks to my song "Broken Out In Love" (later re-titled "Live In Fear") getting picked up as the entrance theme for WWE superstar Bray Wyatt, I was invited to perform it live when he made his big entrance at Wrestlemania at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome this past weekend. It was an incredible experience performing for a sold-out audience of 75,000 people! It's an experience I will never forget and never in my wildest dreams could I have envisioned happening with one little song that got picked out of a music library.

Although this amazing opportunity didn't come from a Taxi forward, it was Taxi that first turned me on to the notion that an independent artist like myself could get music into TV shows. So I really just wanted to share this and say... you never know what might happen when the right song gets to the right person's ears at the right time!

Here's a link to the performance if you want to check it out.

Thanks!

Mark

Congrats, Mark! It was super great to see you up there the other night ... I told all my friends who were watching the story.

When you first posted here that Bray was using your tune in NXT I remember saying that he would probably be a "big deal" pretty soon. Glad to be right on that count! Huge props to you.

Wow, that is cool. I never knew who sung that song. Bray Wyatt is creepy. I am glad he lost, but your song is awesome!

Congrats on yor Wrestlemania debut! That is a huge boost. Hope you guys have your song on iTunes so people can buy it. That was a solid performance.

Forgot to mention how cool and creepy the masks were, loved it! How did that come about, did your band wear just them on this occasion or is this a regular thang?

Thanks guys!

Marc, the masks/costumes were all WWE's idea (the wrestler himself in fact) but I'm definitely thinking of adopting a similar look for future shows etc. I love a bit of theatricality in a performance and this really added a lot to it I think.

And yes, the song is on i-tunes etc...

Thanks!!

Mark
