Is "Hey" Obligatory?
In an effort to remain current can anybody tell me if I should revisit all my old tracks and put a "Hey" on them?
Michael.
I suppose at least "Hey's " aren't key sensitive.
Please let me know as soon as so I can start work.
Don't post till April 1st

And I see a Steven Guiles FB like on their page http://soundfxnow.com/sound-fx/dirty-south-hey/
Michael, perhaps this could be your niche... "Hey" music. "Hey" samples.
Although, I think it would be great if we could get back to saying "baby baby baaabeeee" in songs. I use to practice that a lot.

Unlike my contemporaries!!!!!
An explanation.
A lot of pop music has a shouted, usually by a group and presumably the people who perform in the studio the word "Hey"
I don't know why but for some reason it is remarkably effective but it is just a trend and will probably disappear soon.
Perhaps it offers a tribal element and therefore a sense of belonging.
As you have already no doubt guessed though,I am having a laugh!!!!
Michael.

Re: Is "Hey" Obligatory?
When are we going to get back to the standard "ohhh". I can never pronounce the word "hey" without sounding like a redneck. But "ohhh" I can do just fine.

A trend that will never die, lol, "hey, hey, my, my, rock and roll will never die", from Neil Young 1979.michael11 wrote:Hi Catherine, you are so sweet.HectorRContreras wrote:Don't understand dear Michael.
