Song forward for U140402HM

Post by shellsings » Mon Apr 14, 2014 7:52 pm

Got my song, my sweet sweet home forwarded to this listing ! Woot ! Production by Andy Gabrys!
U140402HM

Songs with lyric themes that relate to the concept of “HOME” are needed by a Top Tier Hollywood Music Supervisor who’s searching for the perfect Song to play under the end title credits of a Documentary Film. He needs Mid-to-Up-Tempo Songs in ANY GENRE, with Male or Female vocals. Whether your Song is about being at home, coming home, building a home, feeling at home, finding a home, making a home, homeward bound, home is where the heart is, your house, our house, this house… anything that relates to the concept of home is what this gentleman wants to hear. If your song will leave the film’s audience feeling warm, safe, and optimistic about anything to do with “home,” then it could work for this Music Supervisor! Rumor has it that this film relates to organizations that provide shelter for people in need. If you’ve got a song that helps underscore the emotional importance of why having a home is key to feeling safe, nurtured, and happy, then send it in! If your song brings back memories of mom’s fresh baked cookies or your favorite teddy bear waiting for you in bed, then this gent needs to hear it. Please listen to the following songs to wrap your head around what’s needed for this pitch: “This Must Be The Place” by Talking Heads: http://bit.ly/1hK4ZvR “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros: http://bit.ly/1m4S4HF “Our House” by Madness: http://bit.ly/OSCbZC Quoting the Music Supervisor: “I’m NOT looking for straight-forward, typical sounding songs. I need a song that has some interesting movement, melodies, and chord structure. We love “This Must Be The Place” by Talking Heads because it’s fun, different, and kinda funky. I’m interested in hearing ALL styles and genres for this placement, as long as there’s an interesting groove or vibe that can draw the listener in.” But please DO NOT send sad, weepy songs about homeless people!! Keep the feel joyful and positive. Please do NOT submit anything that’s dark or depressing. You’d be smart to avoid any instruments or sounds that are aggressive or threatening. He’s also NOT interested in songs that are too light, sappy, or sound like nursery rhymes. Songs with universal lyrics will work best, but remember the key lyric theme needs to relate to home, house, etc. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). Please do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists in any way, shape, or form. The estimated license fee for this is $1,000. This is a Direct-to-Music Supervisor pitch, so you'll keep 100% of your Master and Publishing rights, plus you'll also get 100% of the sync fee and any applicable performance royalties. You must own or control 100% of the Master and Copyright to pitch for this opportunity. All songs will be screened on a Yes/No basis. No full critiques. Please submit 1-3 songs no later than WEDNESDAY, April 2nd, 2014 by NOON (PDT). TAXI #U140402HM
