Anyone have a clue about how 4 co-writers, each in a different PRO (BMI, ASCAP, APRA, and PRS), should register the song with their respective PRO's? We are equal co-writers and co-publishers.
I've left messages with BMI (my PRO), but so far haven't gotten any response.
Any ideas about this?
Thanks!
Richard

Re: Registering a song w. 4 co-writers, all in different PRO
Every PRO has seems to have access to the an international registry of artists registered with any international PROs. When i called my PRO about a similar question they could search their database and immediately confirm that my co-writer was registered with "abc.." PRO.
Therefore, you can just go ahead and register the tracks with your PRO as long as you use the correct names for your co-writers. When royalites arrive, they will manually find and link all the co-writers to the song.
