2nd National TV placement this month!

Just got word that my music will be featured on ABC's "Mixology" this Wed Night (May 14) at 8:30cst. It's the 2nd time this month that this company has gotten a national TV placement for my music.

Though these particular songs weren't a direct result of TAXI forwards, it was a different TAXI forward that began my relationship with this company years ago. Working with them all this time, and meeting them at the Road Rally may have even contributed to these placements.

What I really like about this company, is how picky they are. Similar to TAXI, they don't choose everything I send them. They keep the bar extremely high, and reject many of the songs I submit. Songs that I thought were pretty good. And they still are pretty good, even if someone rejects them for any number of reasons. But I get the rejection, and after the initial sting, realize that I'm gonna have to step it up a bit next time. I'll have to work harder to create something even more innovative, more relatable, more undeniable.

And then, when something is accepted, forwarded, placed- it feels especially gratifying.

Take time to hone your craft, and also take time to develop and maintain your relationships.

Howdy... from a first-time listener to your music; what a treat it is.
Tower Of Power has long been at the top of my list, and so it's great to hear this big sound coming around in a fresh, new, way... if it's okay to put it in those terms.
