Ah thank you very much dear Debra
I all ready have quite an amount of stuff outside my Computer :
- At Wordpress
- At YouTube
- At Vimeo
- At Flickr
- At SoundCloud
- At Photobucket
- At my e-mail address
- At TAXI !
But the places that you suggested sound also very interesting.
Ah Computers, they are Magic, and our World changed, literally so, since we acquired them. Our World broadened immensely, and for this, I am very grateful.
But nothing can replace a good old Book, or a Photo Album, or a few hand written Diaries along the years, or well classified modern Port Folios.
A bit burdensome and heavy though, and difficult to move. Difficult to keep.
My Grand Parents for instance, they had an awesome little Library made of Books for Children dating from the 1800s and early 1900s, and some even earlier.
Quite a Collection.
You can imagine the Weight, the Texture, the Odour, and the strong Covers, the Golden pages and the admirable Illustrations, and the special Fonts.
They also had a full series of Illustrated Encyclopedias dating from the 1800s, huge Books, very solid, with zillions of explanations and Illustrations : priceless.
I spent hours looking at them when I was a Child. It was like stepping into the Past.
Well, because all this was burdensome, when my Grand Parents died, it all went in the "clouds" like you said.
Perhaps hopefully in the home of a Connoisseur, because the Books quality were pristine. May be they still exist.
