Cool! You didn't wait long after the announcement :)! I'll be booking right away, I was just holding off in case I thought of anyone I wanted to bring along as a guest.

Does anyone know, if you register for yourself, can you add your guest later on?

Yes, when you register there's an option to register a guest on the same page.

It was a gut feeling so I jumped on it. I keep hearing that it is good for our success in getting placements. Not to mention the work and honing skills. :) I just just signed up for my 3rd year with Taxi. Setting goals for my year.

Best regards!

You wont regret it Scott!

I went to the rally last year and it was the best musical experience I've ever had. The workshops, the mentors, the panels, and all the friends and peers you get to hang out with and learn from is an experience that will change you and your music forever.

That's Awesome Nathan.

I'm looking forward to it. Does everyong bring instruments? I'm questioning whether to bring my guitar or not. It's been a long time since I've flown with my axe and I'm petrified thinking what could happen to it. I'm a working musician and I can't risk it getting ruined. LOL

Last rally was my first attendence, well worth it.
I live locally, will have my Taylor with me
Anyone is welcome to play it as long as they don't beat it!
Makes for a great idea though
I have beaters at home...
We should set up a beater coral with a "check in/check out"
I have one that I take to the beach
It actually sounds better when you fill it with sand! Hah!
Any other local's out there who could bring a beater???

If all happens the same as last year they always have a bit of gear there for the open mic nights. Usually there is a Piano, 1 acoustic guitar and mics. I took my own acoustic last year, but the ones they had available had a pickup and sounded just fine. I didn't play one, so I don't know how they played, but eh everyone else made it look easy and sound good :)!

I booked my flight, just got to book a room which I was wondering if anyone wanted to share a room. I wanted to bring my guitar, but it seems ridiculous to buy it a seat on the flight. Being it is a really nice Martin, I hate to have it handled as luggage.
