Thanks for the link Bob. Awesome vid. I'm 1/4 way through watching..got sidetracked on a track. Been duplicating tracks and doing simple parallel processing that way but end up with too many tracks. Need to find out how to do it with 1 track in Cubase.

Love the vid and it shows how powerful this technique is. I love it. 8-)

That's the great part of Reason Gavin . Limitless tracks. U can have as many as u want. It's Awesome. I just wish I was better at using it. It will come in time.

Peace,

You can look for compressors that have parallel processing built in, such as the free VST, Density. (note that the wet/dry mix knob is very small in the GUI, but it's there, :D

I can record unlimited tracks in Tracktion, but on an older 32-bit machine with 4M of RAM, there are some limits to how many I can play back at once.

good call Mojo.

yeah "the glue" by Cytomic is a nice and fairly inexpensive SSL Buss compressor knock off and also has a dry / wet mix knob, as do all the Compressors available from Native Instruments that were modelled by Softube.
