Farewell for now...
Today is the last day of my Taxi membership and I will not be renewing.
It's a good service with great members. But, after a few years, I think I've learned several of the secrets to success with using a service like this and probably the #1 of those is the ability and time to write to the specs of a listing. I think I have a lot of good songs, performed and recorded well, but it's rare for me to already have a perfect match for a listing. And we all know that, if it's not a perfect match, it's not going to be forwarded. Right now, I am choosing to utilize my time in a way that does not involve writing for listings.
As my life, career, etc. evolve, I can certainly see coming back. Writing for listings is something I can see myself doing in the future.
I'd like to thank all of you that helped me here with questions on this board over the past few years. And I'd also like to say that some of you really impressed me with your music. I have become a fan of many of you.
If any of you wish to keep in touch or collaborate (my specialties are hard rock, punk, metal and pop/rock), my personal profiles and music pages are easy to find:

I'd also like to thank Michael and the Taxi staff. As I said, it's a good service and my departure is not related to unhappiness with the service. I simply now know the things I need to do to get the most out of the service and now is not the best time for me to concentrate on those particular things.
Best of musical luck to you,
Chip

I've always been a fan of your stuff, Chip. If I'm ever in need of hard-rockin' vocals, I'll reach out to you!
