Unable to loop beat

Hi Guys,

When I make a beat sometimes it wont loop in a 4 or 8 bar section of my DAW. This is the beat I'm trying to loop...

I'm thinking maybe it not 4/4 timing? I was never a counter..

Hi Gavin,

It's 4/4 - this happens to me, too sometimes. In those cases, I just select the loop press Option (or Alt if you're on a PC) and drag - it'll make a copy. Of course after that you can re-select the (whole) track (now with two loops) and repeat the process - you'll be doubling the measures every time, so it won't take long to do a whole song .
