Watched the whole thing, which is amazing by itself. Whenever I play acoustic with others I always ask to form a circle. The sound is so full. Like mega stereo. Same thing, at a party, when I am the only guitar player. I say "ok the talkers over there, and the singers in close proximity to me" It works

thanks Peter

Sincerely

Paul
Thankfully, while growing old is compulsory, growing up remains optional!

Thanks for pointing him out, Dave. I didn't know who that was... and was a little puzzled that he wasn't pictured/photographed with the 5; given all that he contributed: the heartbeat, as it were.

Also, other than the little bit I heard of ELO back in the day, didn't have knowledge or appreciation for Jeff Lynne; what a nice singing voice, and all-around musician/producer. The clip brings that out, I think.

Cheers.

Yes, as you'll know, he's played on loadsa people's albums. As you say, he could have been given more prominence.
I remember he played on George's "Living in the material world", and at the bottom of the rear sleeve George put:
"Jim Keltner fan club - For all information send a stamped undressed elephant to 5112, Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, California." It was his real address!  :) He received all kinds of cranky mail after that. He tells the story on the Scorsesy DVD of the same name.
Not sure how he took it at the time, but he laughs at it now.

As it happens, right now I have a stamped, undressed elephant in my sitting room. I don't know what to tell him. :(

I loved the cameo by the X-Pensive Winos shirt.
