I use the Sonic Maximizer very regularly. It's excellent for making a particular line stand out in a dense mix.

Other two haven't been particularly useful to me but I can see them working for someone with limited dynamics and eq options. The bass one is new and I don't have it so can't comment but if it's anything like the Maximizer it could be great for producing stand out bass lines.

After the usual tricks fail I find this plug is amazing on drums, specifically snare.

If anyone has a snare sound in a mix they dont particularly like it is amazing how much this can change the character of a snare in ways normal eq/compression can not.

Worth the cash for this reason alone imho as snare is a key element to virtually all tracks.

I got this package a couple of days ago and did some quick experimenting with individual components on the mix buss. I quickly realized you need to use these toys with a lot of care; otherwise you can easily push the sound into over-distortion territory. But when used judiciously, it makes a huge difference in the mix, really bringing it to life. I was amazed just how anemic some of my mixes sounded in comparison, even though at the time, I thought they sounded fine. So I predict these plugs will get a lot of use.

It probably goes without saying that not all types of music would benefit from the enhancement the bbe components provide. I doubt I'd ever put it anywhere near a soft classical piece.
