Greetings.
Upon opening my SC page, it was the first time a notice was posted across the top stating that continuing to use SC gives them my consent for their "cookies" use. A few questions & concerns:
1a) does that mean it's already in progress, with no way to refuse or undo?
1b) even if I were to forfeit my SC account, would the "cookies" still be troublesome and/or be exposed to potential harm or compromising?
2) anyone had computer files, or anything, compromised or hacked due to SC cookies attached to your page/account?
3) other comments or recommendations?
fwiw: I'm on an older eMachine desktop PC running Windows Vista Home Basic;
I use yahoo, gmail, and firefox with adblocker plus as my main search, besides Google.
In advance, thank you for any answers/assistance.
Cheers.
Peter

Re: questions about sound cloud and its "cookies"
Personally I'm not very concerned about cookies. I have my browser, Safari, set to block cookies from 3rd parties and advertisers but I accept them from the site I'm visiting. I'm no expert but I believe that's just how they keep track of how you're using their site, which pages and functions you use, storing your username if you wish, etc… FWIW I've been using computers since1995 and always accepted cookies and have never had a problem from it.

You can always clear the cache in your browser and check "delete cookies".
There is a site that if you go to it, it offers a discount price on their product up until midnight, if you go back the next day, the deal is gone. But if you empty your cache, the discount price shows up again.
It's primarily for the user of the site, if there was any info they could or would have taken, they've already done so and stored on their computers. If you click the back button to go back to the pages you have previously looked at, if you delete the cache or cookies, there won't be any going back at that point.
