Richard, I love drums being up front, but is the snare just a tad loud in the choruses and going out? Love the cryin' lead guitar at the end of the song. Really nice vocals too.

Great song and I like the mix. Guitar sound on the solo reminds me of David Gilmour's guitar on Division Bell. The only time I hear the snare a bit loud is when there is a flam...maybe going into the chorus? It's in there a few times. Other than that, a great tune.

Richard,

I like it, everything is in place. If you could, I'd add a little bit more body to the side stick in the verse. Now, that's strictly my aesthetic preference when it comes to the use of side stick, so if you're trying to copy some one else's mix style, don't worry about it.

John

This grooves nicely; 'especially like your V2 lyrics.
Probably jumped out at me 'cause I just got news this evening
that a close friend of mine suddenly lost his sweet wife and soul-mate;
and I'm feeling some of his pain. Music is soothing for the soul.

Listening back to the track, with that frame of mind, makes me appreciate
what a powerful song this is... picture him singing this at her memorial!!
and a reminder to let your loved ones know, while you still can!
Cheers to you for the song; tears for them...
