Yahoo!! song accepted to library

Post by songmaster » Sat Aug 30, 2014 4:07 am

I just found out today that a certain west coast library has accepted my song " It's A Beautiful Life " produced by the talented Paul Otten. Without Taxi and the forum none of this stuff would be happening in my life time. So thank you Taxi, thank you fellow forum folk and thank you Paul...it's more than just a dream now.

If you want to hear the song, it is on my Taxi page. :)

Congratulations indeed, dear Tom and Paul, :) ;)

The Song : "It's a Beautiful Life" is lovely. It has many of the delightful flavours of Simon and Garfunkel at their Début.

A wonderful Instrumentation and a very pleasant Voice. Yes, it is very nice.

Thank you Briand, Catherine and Russell

It has been a long time in coming but the waiting always pays off. Yes, Catherine, the song does seem to have a Simon and Garfunkel feeling. Paul Simon and Paul Otten have a similar voice, come to think of it.

Anyway, thank you all for your kind comments. It's a great way to start the weekend :)

Thank you Graham, Steve, Marc and Casey

Graham It's great being one step closer to the prize, because these shoes were starting to wear out ( I feel a Bob Dylan song comin on ) :)

Steve After getting so much rejection it IS awesome to have some success. It gives you the fuel to keep going.

Marc I wanted to thank you for turning me on to this particular library and for all the amazing work you do for me and Ann. And I realize we can be picky but you always pull it off. You and Paul and all the rest of the people on the forum are like air to me. So thank you :)

Casey Yeah Paul has a lucky streak, like the streak you see a meteor make across the night sky :) I am just happy to catch the tail end a go for an amazing ride. But I don't have to tell you about the magic Paul adds to a song. You two have come up with some beautiful stuff  Thanks again for your comments.

I must say, that I am not a very social person and I find it very hard to reach out to people and ask for anything ( if Moses had asked for directions he would have saved himself about 40 years ) I just want to encourage others out there who might be having a hard time getting started to GO ON THE FORUM!!!!!!!!!!!!! and let the universe unfold for you. Why pay Taxi dues, when you don't take advantage of the opportunities they offer.

Anyway thank you all my Taxi brothers and sisters, I am very grateful to you all :) :) :)

Tom
