Starting to get traction in the gritty blues genre

Post by Piewackit1 » Tue Sep 09, 2014 10:46 am

My song Blood Turns to Alcohol got a forward for this listing:

BLUES-INSPIRED, ALT ROCK INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a great Music Library with a long list of awesome placements for TAXI members. They're on the prowl for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Reality TV Cues in the general stylistic ballpark of artists like Hanni El Khatib, The Black Keys, Black Rebel Motorcycle, etc. Submit guitar riff-based Cues with a gritty, contemporary Alt Rock sound. Keep your straight up Blues on the shelf for this pitch. All submissions should be at least 2 minutes long, with easy edit points, and button endings (preferred, but not absolutely necessary). Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced bands in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for feel.

Keeping my fingers crossed for the other blues listings I submitted to.

Nice track. Really like that dirty tone. What did you use for it?
