Kolstad wrote:Really interesting stuff!

I could really relate to Paul's reflections on the process of figuring out your own strengths "... another important challenge I faced was figuring out my strengths. I started out chasing after every genre I could; spreading myself thin and exposing my naivety in thinking I could do it all. The ongoing challenge I face is in finding my own voice."

For some, playing to your strengths, may be taken-for-granted stuff, while it for others can be really challenging, as how the h... do you find out! And "voice", what the h... IS that, beyond some habitual choices you do? So, it's great to hear Paul has been there too. He's putting out so much great music consistently.

Great content! I love to hear about experiences, workflows, processes and stories. I try to avoid too much technical content. I'm sort of fed up with that from the myriad of "good advice" sources. How real people are dealing with real challenges are much more interesting and helpful for me. Mileage varies, of course.

Thanks Magne!
