Groove3 Production Tutorials
For any budding composer / producer, there’s a great resource I use called Groove3. Its got 830 hours of video tutorials on all aspects of production. I know there’s great stuff on Youtube but it can be hard to find the right stuff. This is very focused and really well presented. You can access it all for $15 per month. I’ve found it worth its wait in gold.
You can peruse all their tutorials before committing.
It also means I don’t have to keep relying on the great souls here on the Taxi forums, all least not all the time
Hope its cool to post this - I have no affiliation or connection to them whatsoever. Just dig it!

Groove3 is a great resource. A couple other favorites are MacProVideo and Lynda.com
Any time spent to learn a new skill or workflow or tip is time well spent.

I got a free tutorial on the free Eventide Ultrachannel at groove3. How fantastic is that?! The guy did a good job, too. Other stuff there looked good as well! Like Kayle, I also really love Lynda.com, although it's more about general training, not just music - although they have some good music courses too.

Hey Guys,
If you can afford it Berklee Online is a ridiculously great investment as long as you put the time in, however, for those that don't have the budget for that there are two sites that host classes from Berklee Online and other universities that are really awesome as well. The classes are usually a part of one of the courses from the school, but they are still extremely valuable.
https://www.coursera.org/courses?orderb ... cats=music
https://www.edx.org/course-list/allscho ... allcourses
The courses usually reoccur if you miss them. If you're a production type person I highly recommend this one https://www.coursera.org/course/musicproduction ... I took Loudon's classes at Berklee and tried to get him to the Rally this year, but it didn't work out with his schedule... hopefully next year.
This one is also awesome if you write lyrics https://www.coursera.org/course/songwriting ... can't beat Pat Pattison.
Hope that helps,
John
