Got a coupla six packs for the weekend
Home alone because my girlfriend
Is visitin’ her gramma up in Telluride
She called n asked what I had planned
I said, “Baby, I’ll just open up a can
Kick back awhile and let the beer decide

Some six packs wanna crank The Rolling Stones
Some just wanna play some Hank and ol’ George Jones
Some six packs wanna watch Caddyshack
Others love The Empire Strikes Back
Some six packs will take you
Where you didn’t think they would
Either way, just let me say
They all taste good”

Next day I’m out rakin’ my lawn
And a coupla guys come along
Wearin’ cheap suits with pamphlets in their hands
They invited me to a talk
At their temple down the block
I said, “guys, I’m not settled on my plans

Cos some six packs wanna crank The Rolling Stones
Others wanna watch the Game of Thrones
Some six packs invite my buddies to the house
Other just veg out on the couch
Some six packs will take you
Where you didn’t think they would

When they left I headed in and called my girlfriend up
She said her gramma had an urgent meeting at her sewing club

She said, “I bought a six of brew

Others wanna see Texas playin’ Notre dame
Some six packs wanna crank some James Brown
Others like some Little Big Town
