GANGSTER HIP-HOP INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by the Owner of a Top Music Library for some highly rated TV programs. He’s on the hunt for Mid-Tempo Instrumentals that you might hear on a playlist with “Left, Right” by YG, “Watch Me” by G-Unit, “Smoke” by 50 Cent, etc., etc., etc. WARNING: REFERENCED SONGS DO HAVE EXPLICIT LYRICS. Imagine what’s playing as a crew of tough guys cruise down the street in their gas guzzling, tricked out SUV. Keep it simple and give him a laidback, bass heavy beat that rocks the speakers. Make sure the track is well balanced and not so frenetic that it could interfere with any dialog. Overall, instrumentals should stay true to the genre, with production that’s as fresh and current as anything that’s on the radio. All submissions need to be at least 2 minutes long. Easy edit points and buttoned/stinger endings are highly encouraged. Do not submit any material with unauthorized samples of other artists’ songs, sounds, or any other form of media. Please remember, this request is for Instrumental Cues only, no vocals! This Music Library offers an EXCLUSIVE 50/50 split deal. You’ll split all sync fees 50/50, and keep 100% of the Writer’s share. The Library gets 100% of the Publisher’s share. You must own or control 100% of your Master and Copyright. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). You must own or control 100% of the Master and Copyright to pitch for this opportunity. Please submit one to three instrumentals online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques.
