TV placements through TAXI

Post by waltergrund » Mon Oct 06, 2014 2:58 am

Just got a royalty statement telling me bout placements in Germany and the US via a music library TAXI hooked me up with.

"In my dreams" is a co-write with singer and TAXI member Adrienne Osborn that got broadcasted in "Snakes on a ridge".

7 other instrumentals got used in other US-shows. ("BUILT-IN DEN FOR DAD", "GRILLING UP A NEW LIVING ROOM" etc.)
Give one of them a listen - it's a Flamenco-cue:

I put up a best-of of some of my cues here:

This is great, Walter. I love that flamenco track too. No wonder you're getting some action out of it! Cha-ching!!!

:? this description from the You Tube post is, imho, priceless:

"Spanish-like guitar piece composed and played by Walter Grund;
also available for guitar ensemble at Trekel, Hamburg."

Ah... genre-specific; that's what it's all about. :shock: :? :lol:
Just teasin'...congrats, it's a wonderful piece.
Of course, I cannot vouch for the sheet music being authentic;
could just be lined paper with a colony of lost black ants crawling around,
or it's just overspray from when you were touching up the flat-black paint on the backyard bbq. :shock: :? 8-)
(oooh... "Lost Black Ants"... song title?! hmmmmm....)

Cheers.

Here's a performance by 4 guitar students near Cologne:

that's why I wrote sheet music for them which is also published...makes sense?
