Ho, hey, I say, your what started to twitch?
That's got a whole different meaning over here you know!! :o :)

Like we call those things you keep your money in bum bags (couldn't say your version) but you'd say that's a bag a bum carries! :D

Anyway, I digress...

Fun song. Nice guitar sound.

Dave.

Ah... the English.
(here in the US: bum = butt, ass, fanny, booty, backside, rump, keester... probably many others).
So what you call a bum-bag in the UK is a fanny-pack in the US; neither do I use!
I'm reminded of going to a friend's home for the first time in 3rd grade, in Virginia; his family had a day-maid who took care of cleaning and such while both parents were at work. Her name was "Fanny". I thought that was a bit funny/odd.
Reminds me of another movie: "Lost In Translation".

No, it won't feature in many parents shortlists of names for their daughter over here.

"When my keester started to twitch" - That works! :D

"Take a look at my genre - tell me if the fit looks off" I should have known by the title where this thread was going! :)

Peter,

Glad you were able to get this recorded. I agree that the recording is very good. The lyrics are good and your vocals work for this. A very folksy quality to it overall.

Thanks, Bob.
fwiw: I may have found my new 'demo singer', when I was at a guitar jam a weekend ago.
He's a big Delbert McClinton fan (embarrassingly enough, about whom I know nothing); and he can do a pretty good sound-alike. I'll be interested to see/hear the results if we can get some tracks of newer songs laid down in the next few months.

Cheers.
