If you have a stereo delay plug in there's a good chance it will have a pre set that you could tweak to taste as well.

or make your own preset. To turn a mono center panned track into stereo wide:

turn L side to 100% wet. set delay to 10-40 ms (your choice). Set repeats to 0% (you just want the one original sound).
Turn R side to 0% wet.

Done. save it as a custom named preset.

now reverse the settings (i,e, L side 0% wet, R side 100% wet set delay to 10-40 ms (your choice). Set repeats to 0%.)
and save it as another preset.
