Good To Be Alive!

Post by ernstinen » Tue Oct 21, 2014 1:15 pm

Hi Everyone!

It's be quite awhile since I posted here due to a major health scare. In May my wife took me to the hospital with a bad pain in my abdomen. The next thing I remember, I woke up in intensive care. I'm SOOOO lucky I was in the hospital, because I had gone into cardiac arrest. My heart had stopped. Thanks to God and my doctors, I was brought back to life!

I spent months in physical rehab, learning how to walk again and exercising daily. I dropped 30 pounds, and just had a physical exam --- everything now is PERFECT with my health! The doctor was shocked at my rapid recovery, to say the least.

I look at life differently now. You never know when your time is up, and mine wasn't up yet! Take care of yourselves, my friends ... There is a lot more music to write and life to enjoy!

Blessings,

Ernstinen

thank God you are alive Ern I have been thinking of you, Mazz and all the other regulars that have vanished.

what a story. I had the heart thing and died on the table also. Doesn't the break of day now seem like a new beginning.

The loss of weight is sooooo good. Now the exercise etc ha ha

Great great news

Sincerely

Paul

Glad to hear that you are feeling better. Just take life one day at a time.

Welcome back Ern. Pun intended! :)

Yeah, enjoy every day, and don't take life too seriously!
Good to have a fellow guitarist back. Let's have a listen to "RAM" and celebrate! :)
