Got a copy of this with Waves Native Power Pack. Simple control surface, very, very, very effective comp for guitars and bass.
http://www.waves.com/plugins/renaissance-axx I wouldn't pay for the standalone version though. I think I paid $99 for the native power pack, and I believe you can get the Renaissance pack on sale for around the same price.
I'm working on a country chickin-pickin tune right now, and this thing nails the Ross/Keeley/MXR Dynacomp sound on an electric guitar. The attack explodes and the rest of the envelope just gets 'ballsier' all without losing the overall dynamic content of the source. I'll try to post up some samples if/when I get some time.
