I love you

If my heart.. could really talk.. it would tell the world I’m in love with you
My mind and me..really both agree that it’s true D G A

Those three words are hard to say.. I wish I could.. gotta find a way Fmaj7 G (2)A

I’m lookin in the mirror again just don’t know how to
Hold your hands.. look in your eyes.. and finally get to say.
I love you..yes I do (second time)…I really do

Can she tell.. without the word.. that Im hopelessly in love with her
Did this hug and kiss tell her yes I’m not sure…go to prechorus

Man up time has come at last time to make my move
I’ll take your hands look in your eyes and finally I will say
I love you..yes I do (second time)…I really do

My words were shakey her eyes got wide
Felt my heart itwas leaping inside she said
I love you..too

Love the guitar tracks. I'm a fan of the compressed acoustic guitar track sound. It worked for the Eagles!

Sweet song, Paul! I think the guitars sound good and help to fill space in a sparse arrangement like this.

Paul,

Well written. I was about to say the chords in the pre-chorus sound awkward, but the 2nd time thru I thought they worked (so not really sure what that means!).

Lamar

I don't usually use compression. Unfortunately I usually go in, select the high spikes, and lower them. Very time consuming. This studio one program has defaults for acoustic strumming, finger pickin etc. I just grabbed one:)

Dan

I have four acoustic tracks playing (one capo'd high) to try and fill. Tried some drums, but they didn't work so well.

John

You nailed it, there is no transition into the bridge. I am presently working on that. good catch

Thanks guys for listening. I have recently been a forum hog, but songs are popping up in my mind lately. It might be six months on the next one??

Sincerely

Paul
