Joined TAXI on Sept 30th and just got my first forward!

My song "Visions of a Future" was forwarded for the below opportunity! I just joined TAXI less than a month ago so I'm hoping that this is the start of something good.

POSITIVE, CONTEMPORARY RAP/HIP HOP SONGS are needed by a Music Licensing Company that specializes in licensing music to videographers and photographers. Give them Songs in the stylistic ballpark of Lupe Fiasco, Nicki Minaj, Drake, etc., etc., etc. Quoting the source: "Songs need to be positive, not just lyrically but musically as well. Lyric themes about weddings, love, family, happiness, etc., are all great, if you've got them." Give them songs with a great chorus, creative lyrics, and an overall emotionally upbeat spirit. Universal lyrics will work best. Avoid specific names, places, dates, times, or detailed storylines. Lyrics should be rated PG. If you submit a song, this company asks that you have an instrumental version on hand, but you don't need to send it in now. Broadcast quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). This company offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE deal. You'll split the sync fee 50/50. You'll retain 100% of the Master rights, and the Library will keep 100% of the Publishing for any placements they generate. You must own 100% of your Master and Copyright to submit for this opportunity. Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than Wednesday, October 1, 2014.

Thanks bro. I've seen a few listings for positive Hip Hop on TAXI so hopefully something will come through. Just going to continue building my catalog in the meantime.

Congrats on that one. Love that beat, esp the way it opens up on the chorus. As a working' DJ I spin lots hip hop, and I definitely lean towards the positive vibes, still being uber-cool trumps everything--this got both.
