4 out of 6 for Gritty Blues

Post by Piewackit1 » Fri Oct 31, 2014 10:35 am

Got 4 songs forwarded between two listings.

3 for 3 on this one: https://soundcloud.com/piewackit-1/blac ... t-mess-cue , https://soundcloud.com/piewackit-1/blac ... lcohol-cue, https://soundcloud.com/piewackit-1/blac ... for-me-cue

GRITTY, BLUES-INSPIRED ALT ROCK INSTRUMENTAL TRACKS are needed by the Owner of a successful LA-based Music Library for placements in a Film and TV. They want rockin' Mid-to-Up-Tempo Songs in the stylistic ballpark of music by bands like Band of Skulls, The Black Keys, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, etc. Give them commercially appealing tracks with tons of tough energy drenched in a current Alt Rock swagger. Your submissions need to sound like an authentic band, not a MIDI-driven studio project. Remember, this is Blues-inspired, NOT a Muddy Waters reincarnation. Sticking to a central melodic theme, and creating interest and dynamics by adding and subtracting layers of instruments is a good idea. So are having easy edit points and a buttoned ending. Your cues should be about two-minutes long. Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, texture, and tone. This Library offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE 50/50 deal. You'll split all upfront sync fees, and keep 100% of your original Copyrights. They'll get 100% of the Publishing. You must own or control 100% of your Master and Composition to submit for this pitch. Please submit one to three instrumental tracks online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than Monday, October 6, 2014. TAXI #S141006AR

...and this one for the listing below: https://soundcloud.com/piewackit-1/02-p ... uder-vocal

BLUES-INSPIRED, CONTEMPORARY ALT ROCK SONGS with Male Vocals are needed by a very busy Music Library that's nailed down many placements for TAXI members. Please submit gritty, rebellious Mid-to-Up-Tempo Songs that could be found on the same playlist as bands like Band of Skulls, Black Pistol Fire, The Stone Foxes, etc., etc. Give them well-structured rockin' songs with tons of attitude vocally, lyrically, and musically. Songs should have a contemporary Alt Rock sound, with a Blues backbone that adds some swagger. Great hooks, with engaging melodies, and a really cool chorus will really get you noticed for this pitch. Lyric themes are open as long as they're universal, PG-Rated, and will work well for a variety of scenes and storylines. Please avoid specific names, places, dates, times, brands, etc. Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, texture, and tone. This company offers an EXCLUSIVE 50/50 deal, so please be sure your Songs are NOT already signed with any other Libraries or Catalogs. You'll keep 100% of the Writer's share, and the Publisher gets 100% of the Publisher's Share. You must own or control 100% of your Master and Copyright. Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than Tuesday, October 21, 2014.
