Anyone use EZ Drums 2 and Addictive Drums 2?

Post by denalihighway » Mon Nov 17, 2014 11:32 am

Hello guys n gals,

Addictive Drums came up a number of times over the Rally. Especially from some guys who evidently know what they're talking about. I use EZ Drums 2 too at the mo - love the new tap function etc. Great interface.

Does anyone use both?

I'm interested to know if they might compliment each other or if I should stick to EZ2 and learn it better.

Thanks for any guidance,

Best
Gar

i have the first edition of each package.

IMO they are substantially different enough in the sounds of the kits that they are both useful and complimentary. And the mixer section in AD is much more fully featured than EZ.

Can;t say how the second edition of each compares

So if you have that cash burning a hole in your pocket……...

If there is one thing I do not have this month, its cash burning a hole in my pocket :D - the only reason I'm posting right now is cuz its on my post-Rally to-do list to look into it...

But its reasonably priced in fairness. So I think I'll look at this fairly soon. I did notice that EQ etc section in the video demo which was interesting.

Thank you sir

I love both AD and EZD, I love using them together. It's rare if I don't use them together. EZD2 tap and song creator feature is amazing!

You should definitely pick up AD if you can, they should have some good deals coming up.

Hey Gareth I have EZdrums. I have the electronic one as well. Actually just been revisiting it. Haven't used it in ages. Sounds great but for some reason audio drum loops work better for me. So back to audio loops. Also if you have Cubase Groove Agent is great. I use that for percussion and stuff like that.
